Dear Mrs HendersonI send a little hat for <Manore>, made out of some relics of former patterns, which I hope will fit her, & be of use to her this winter. I am sure she will look very sweet in it. I arranged the strings very slightly, having no pride for the style, & feeling sure for now be obliged to alter them to suit her baby proportions. I was sorry I did not see her the last time she was here being particularly engaged & shall now be especially anxious to know how she looks in the hat.
