Sir,

I am informed that there are at Edinburgh, Shenandoah Co, 200 Tons of Gun metal, belonging to Dr Archer, which are much needed at the Bellona Arsenal. I have to request that transportation be provided to Richmond on your line of road as early as possible not to the prejudice, however, of more important business.
