The friends of Mr Leigh Robinson (1^st Comp^y Howitzers) request permission for him to spend Xmas with them in Richmond.

His two brave brothers lie side by side in Hollywood cemetery. Deeply sympathizing with him in his imparable loss, I should be glad to extend to him this indulgence. Should circumstances therefore permit & there be nothing to prevent it, if you will send up an application for a leave for a few days it will be granted.
