I have the honour to report, that in pursuance of permission to join the Regt: recd from the Adjt Genl; I arrived here this morg from New Orleans, & shall continue in the Mail Steamer to Indianola, whence I shall proceed to the Heas Qrs of the Regt, via San Antonio, with as little delay as practicable
