Genl. Breckenridge reports that his scouts on the night of the 16th. burned the railroad bridge over Mossy Creek. Before daylight on the 18th. the enemy hurriedly evacuated Bull’s Gap retreating towards Knoxville, and Genl. Vaughan pursuing.
