Sirs

Messrs. Isaac Smith, Ebenezer Storer & William Philips are appointed by
this Committee, Commissioners to adjust the several Accounts of the
Agents appointed by General Washington for the fleet fitted out by his
directions, to value such goods as they duely delivered for the use of
the United States and give Credit agreeable to such valuation, also to
receive any balances due from, and pay any due to such Agents, and to
require them to pay the proper proportion to the Captors.

You as one of the said Agents are required to pay due regard to the
applications of those Gentlemen for the above purposes so that the same
may be effected with all possible expedition.
