I have the honor to inform You, that on Your letter of this day, stating
that previously to Your appointment to the Board of Treasury, You were
elected a Member of the Assembly of Virginia, which is to be in Session
the 17th Instant, and praying for leave of absence for the purpose of
attending the Session of the said Assembly, the United States in
Congress assembled have been pleased to resolve that leave of absence
be granted to You, agreeably to Your
request.1

I heartily wish You a good Journey and an agreeable meeting with Your
friends.
