I have the honor to enclose copies of the papers returned to this Office by
Capt Barry in consequence of the order of Congress of July 15th,
1782.1 The papers of which I informed You
yesterday, were enclosed in a letter to the President, with the
original from Capt Wm. Robeson2 – but upon
farther examination I have found the attested copies transmitted to the
Secretary.3
