Dear Sir

My brother in law Maj L. P. Conner formerly on Gen Braggs staff may have occasion to write to you – I bespeak for him such. Consideration as is due to a gentleman of money & worth – He has been thinking of sending to Lexington a Son of the late Maj <William> Conner who fell in a charge at Gettysburg leading the Jeff Davis Legion – & I think you will remember him – Major Conner will probably desire some information which you can give – & oblige him & myself. Very Respectfully

Yours

Will T. Martin
