I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of “Special Orders” No. 79 of June 10th from the Adjutant General’s Office, convening a Board of Officers at West Point on he 18th Inst: to examine into the physical qualifications of the Cadets of the graduating class. The examination of the class will be completed on Wednesday the d15th inst:, and I deem it very desirable that its members should be relieved from duty at the Military Academy as soon thereafter as practicable. I have therefore respectfully to request that the 16th or 17th instant may be designated as the day of meeting of the Board, in lieu of the 18th.
